Enhance your photography by zooming in even closer
When you need to draw your subject in closer, you can rely on the DMC-FH4’s Intelligent Zoom mode. This smart feature allows you to virtually extend the camera’s 4x optical zoom to an 8x equivalent, with minimum deterioration of image quality, thanks to the Intelligent Resolution technology. You also have the benefit of Sonic Speed AF and a quick start-up time; offering a high speed response that helps you to catch the most fleeting photo opportunities.
Enjoy easy movie capture with HD recording
The DMC-FH4 camera can record video in high-definition (1,280 x 720 pixels at 30 fps) Motion JPEG format. You can use the digital zoom during video recording and take advantage of MEGA O.I.S. (Optical Image Stabiliser) to suppress the blur caused by handshake. Everything you capture is easy to frame and review on the 2.7 inch intelligent LCD screen, equipped with automatic backlight adjustment to ensure a clear view of images under any lighting conditions.
iA does the hard work and creative effects make your photography fun
Thanks to iA (Intelligent Auto), you can capture every fun moment without even having to think about it. Just point and shoot, then the DMC-FH4 compact camera will do all the hard work. Your pictures will certainly benefit from MEGA O.I.S.*, Face Detection*, Intelligent Scene Selector**, Intelligent Exposure* and Happy Mode. You can also create a sweeping landscape with Panorama Shot, or automatically adjust contrast and brightness to create the perfect image with Auto Retouch.
*The MEGA O.I.S., Intelligent ISO Control, Face Detection AF/AE, and Intelligent Exposure are automatically turned on in the iA Mode and can be turned on or off in the Normal Picture Mode or some Scene Modes.
